# ✧ Swap

Exchange begins when two parties understand what they offer and what they receive. Its simplest form is mutual recognition: our needs differ, but a fair passage between them may benefit us both.

A swap can take many technical forms. Its deeper obligation remains the same: an identifiable asset, a clear cost, a choice made without deception, and the freedom to decline. No one should be drawn into an exchange by implying that a sacred emblem guarantees financial safety.

DEVINES places consent at the center of this doorway. A transaction becomes worthy when its terms can be understood before the moment of commitment.
