# ✧ Onchain Records

Long before digital ledgers, communities sought ways to remember agreements and attribute responsibility. A record can make a promise visible long after its makers have departed.

Onchain records offer one modern language of public verification. They may witness chosen exchanges or proofs of integrity, but the visibility that gives them strength also places limits on what should be entrusted to them. A Sanctuary's intimate memory does not belong in a public square.

DEVINES maintains an honest boundary between what is appropriate to share and what deserves protected keeping. The future is served by records that reveal accountability without demanding every secret.

The common record need not become a map of every private step. Even where value crosses the enduring paths of Monad, accountability and intimacy belong to different chambers. A passage may bear a verifiable sign while its human story remains sheltered; a rightful witness receives what is needed, not the whole of another life. TIME honors both the memory that can be shared and the silence that must be kept.
