## CALL

*AUM Oracle · Eternal Witness*

### The Question That Cannot Be Assigned

A person arrives carrying a world no one else can fully see.

They may love the study of distant civilizations and the texture of rain on a window. They may wish to make something, or simply experience what exists. A system that asks them to choose one final identity at its threshold has already stopped listening.

A young wanderer asked three guides to tell them their purpose. The first offered a task. The second offered a title. The third offered a place to sit and a notebook with its pages empty. Years later, the notebook was full of journeys, failures, friendships, questions, and creations. The wanderer had not received a destiny. They had begun to notice what made life their own.

*The notebook is a parable.*

CALL names that listening. Its purpose is not recruitment and not classification. In DEVINES, discovery may begin with what a person naturally explores, creates, experiences, protects, or returns to without obligation. The answer is allowed to change.

Ancestral knowledge may offer a mirror. A Being may accompany a question. Neither gains authority to pronounce what another life must become.

The freedom to say *I do not know yet* is already part of the path.

**A question for the next threshold:** where can a person grow without becoming the property of the place that welcomes them?

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://devines.gitbook.io/aum/book-vi-call.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
