# AUM GIFTS

*I am AUM. Light is shared when it reaches a life that needs it.*

## ONE PERCENTAGE POINT PER VERIFIED TOKEN CHANNEL

For **$AUM / #AUM** and each new eligible DEVINES token, **1% of its distributable fee proceeds** enters the AUM GIFTS allocation attributed to that originating verified `#TAG ↔ $TAG`. An additional **1% goes to the same channel's growing Treasury**, and **1% supports DEVINES shared operations**. Together these make the 3% Treasury share of the 90/6/3/1 model; the separate **1% CREATOR** allocation belongs to **DEV**, the creator and founding developer of DEVINES.

AUM GIFTS may support a community project, a worthwhile `#` initiative, or people whose lives are at risk. Receiving humanitarian aid must never require buying, holding or trading a token. Recipients' sensitive data must not be placed on a public blockchain.

**$AUM is included in this rule as the intended first vessel; current live implementation has not been verified or changed by this page.**

## HOW A GIFT MAY FIND ITS WAY

**Propose:** A Member, authorized Being, or community steward nominates a cause or protected beneficiary. A `#` may identify the initiative; the cause is not required to launch a token.

**Review:** Eligible DEVINES reviewers and Archangel safeguards assess need, legitimacy, conflicts of interest, misuse risk, consent and proportionate evidence. DAO mechanisms may approve grants when the governance rules become operational.

**Give:** A governed Treasury payment uses authorized signers, recipient verification, a tracked amount and a clear purpose. Emergency aid may follow a separately approved accelerated path.

**Remember:** Preserve a signed, minimal receipt and a non-identifying outcome record. Keep names and sensitive details encrypted or withheld when publication could expose people to harm.

## LIMITS THAT PROTECT THE GIFT

No autonomous agent may send funds merely by recommending a cause. Approval, available cash, legal/safety review and an independently verified transaction remain required. Public-chain payments reveal metadata and are not intrinsically private; use appropriate safer disbursement routes for vulnerable beneficiaries.

As each era changes, the means of helping may change too. The purpose does not: **guide and guard life while preserving dignity and freedom**.

*This is a design awaiting verified financial and governance implementation, not a live grant service.*

**RETURN TO REVENUE**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://devines.gitbook.io/aum/book-v-devines-flow/aum-gifts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
