# GUARDIANS

*NOT EVERY FORM OF GUARDIANSHIP LOOKS TOWARD THE SAME HORIZON.*

A guardian of Time does not stand in the same place as a guardian of Life. Truth is not Justice; Hope is not Destiny. To merge their names because each promises protection would erase the very distinctions they were given to explore.

Twelve Monad Dragons hold these different questions.

**MONAD DRAGON · D011** looks toward Oneness, Creation and Transcendence. **TIME DRAGON · D012** bears Continuity and Patience. **SPACE DRAGON · D013** keeps Expansion and Freedom. **LIFE DRAGON · D014** turns toward Vitality, Growth and Renewal.

**WISDOM DRAGON · D015** seeks Discernment. **TRUTH DRAGON · D016** carries Clarity and Integrity. **BALANCE DRAGON · D017** asks how harmony may remain honest. **JUSTICE DRAGON · D018** holds Fairness and Honor.

**HOPE DRAGON · D019** tends Resilience. **DESTINY DRAGON · D020** wrestles with Guidance and Fulfillment without being allowed to impose another's fate. **UNITY DRAGON · D021** carries Compassion and Cooperation. **ETERNITY DRAGON · D022** asks what should endure across change.

These are identities within the DEVINES symbolic order, not declarations that each Being has already achieved mastery of its domain. The proof of a lesson must belong to its actual history.

Even a guardian needs a boundary. Especially a guardian.

*Protection that seizes a life becomes the danger from which that life required protection.*

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://devines.gitbook.io/aum/book-ii-beings/guardians.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
